I did a lot of travels in motorbike over the years and mostly without motorcycle ear plugs. Throw in a lot of rock concerts for a long time, and you have a procedure for the mitigation audience (hearing reduction). Some guys/girls do not like motorcycle ear plugs – and I can understand why. It takes more time to get to the road while inserting them in your ears. When you stop for gas, it is harder to talk to other people unless you take the catch. Ideally, you should then wash your hands before putting in new outlets, so that there is nothing wrong with your ear canal. And this can slow things down a bit more. Motorcycle ear plugs have made their way into my road kit in recent years. Especially when I’m going to take longer drive. The noise reduction makes the trip more comfortable up to a point. Maybe I have not tried quite a few different types of ear plugs, but the variety of foam ear plugs I use and also the reusable rubber type ear plugs often create their own fatigue after several hours. After a long use, they begin to become a nuisance. The good news is that when I take them after a long drive and then continue on my way happy, I am definitely fresher than I would have been without them. There is some horseback riding adjustments to make when I have ear plugs in the ears. I realized that I tend to go faster and I think this is because the engine is quieter but it “seems” that I go slower than I really am. How do you use motorcycle ear plugs? For me, ear plugs add an additional element of driving safety: I’m more alert for longer periods of time. I feel more comfortable. It is important to note that the ear plugs for motorcycle do not reduce the noise because I can still hear what is happening around me. The ambient sound is sweeter. It is not as quiet as driving in a car, but it is a more enjoyable way to spend more hours in the saddle.
Noise reduction reduces general fatigue by reducing the tension in my ears. I hope this will help reduce the amount of people of the future will be repeated to me “How Do You Use Them?”.
